linked to the character of Cinderella”. We all know that Rossini and librettist Jacopo Ferretti in fact had gone a long way from Perrault’s fairy tale.
In the rather empty, bare stage the few scenographic elements strike the attention: the colorful costumes, the two giant chandeliers, the 1970’s kitchen.
The singers are young, talented and with very good acting skills.
Evelino Pidň conducts with a light, energetic touch that well suit the entire production.
