Notes and Editorial Reviews

Boni Pueri, the Czech Boys Choir, is known throughout Europe as well as the US and Asia, and has performed more than 2500 concerts worldwide. This album includes some constant repertoire of the choir, as well as previously unrecorded compositions. Alongside classical staples like Handel’s Hallelujah and Franck’s Panis Angelicus, intriguing arrangements of folk songs stand out, particularly Suite from the Czech and Slovak folk songs by Otakar Jeremias. On this recording, together with Boni Pueri, Mark Stilec conducts the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice.
