Born: February 1, 1945; Copenhagen, Denmark  
Buck studied composition with Nárgaard and Gudmundsen-Holmgreen. He is a serial composer and uses clusters or melodic or rhythmic cells in works that are inspired by other works of art or philosophical ideas, such as =Kalligrafi= (1964), a work for voice and orchestra.
