Västerås Sinfonietta and dB Productions present an album portrait of American composer Molly Kien. Västerås Sinfonietta is one of the oldest orchestras in the world, dating back to 1883. The Sinfonietta is domiciled in Västerås Concert Hall. In addition to concerts in their own concert hall, they perform all around the Mälardalen region. Molly Kien is an American living in Stockholm, Sweden. She is very interested in American folk music, she also sings and plays clawhammer banjo, mountain dulcimer and the ukelele.
