Peter Lyne studied composition at Oxford with the English composers Edmund Rubbra and Kenneth Leighton. In 1969, he moved to Sweden and continued his studies with Ingvar Lindolm. Since 1983 he has been Head of the Kapellsburg School of Music. Karin Rehnqvist was born in Stockholm and she studied there from 1976-1984 with among others Gunnar Bucht and Brian Ferneyhough. Karolina Eiriksdottir attended the Reykjavik College of Music. She continued her education in musicology and composition at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she studied with the late William Albright. Jan W. Morthenson studied with Ingvar Lidholm.
