Notes and Editorial Reviews
Susan Eischeid has been presenting lecture/recitals of Holocaust music throughout the United States since 1987. This CD, Mystic Chords of Genocide, has grown out of her continuing interest in preserving the music of the Holocaust and continuing to give voice to the many musicians who were killed during this terrible period of history. Today she is Associate Professor of Music at Valdosta State University and Principal Oboe of the Valdosta Symphony. She performed for many years with the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra and is currently a member of the Eastern Philharmonic Orchestra and a faculty member at the Eastern Music Festival.
