| Louis Langrée is a conductor best known for his opera performances. He has often conducted at the Glyndebourne Festival Opera and is associated with the Glyndebourne Touring Opera. With Glyndebourne he has performed or is scheduled to perform Mozart's Così fan tutte and Le nozze di Figaro, Beethoven's Fidelio, Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande, and Puccini's La bohème. At Lyon he conducted La bohème and Mozart's Idomeneo, and Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges. He has made at least one compact disc, accompanying Natalie Dessay in a collection of arias for the heroines of Mozart operas. |
