Notes and Editorial Reviews
The Kapelle Trio is established as one of America's finest new chamber ensembles. Founded in 1992, the musicians joined forces to perform trios and all duo literature. They quickly gained national recognition; their live performances of Debussy's Trio and Schoenfield's Café Music were chosen for broadcast on National Public Radio's "Performance Today." In 1993, the Kapelle was appointed Artist Trio-in-Residence at the University of Central Arkansas, and enjoyed critical and audience acclaim for regular concert appearances for Arkansas Arts on Tour and Mid-America Arts. In 1997, they toured in Europe for the first time, with appearances at international music festivals in Sofia and Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and concerts in northern Italy. Devoted
