Liked it, didn't love it May 14, 2013 By Jerry G. (Denver, CO) See All My Reviews "For whatever reason I expected better. It was good, but not great. Hoping for more from their next venture." Report Abuse
Joshua Bell superb Beethoven 7th April 10, 2013 By Jerome Weingart (Arlington, VA) See All My Reviews "I just heard this performance on WBJC. I was pretty sure that it was a performance by Sir John Eliot Gardner and the Romantic and Revolutionary Orchestra of the 18th Century. It was crisp, focused, beautifully phrased, and a joy to listen to. I am delighted that Joshua Bell has taken up this new post. Based on my first impression, this is going to be a wonderful partnership. (Full disclosure: I was a professional violist for several decades, and am not easily impressed. This performance blew me away.)" Report Abuse
