Notes and Editorial Reviews
Joseph Addeo possesses a full lyric tenor that shines in the Italian opera and song literature. He has performed the leading tenor roles in most of the standard repertoire. His affinity and love for Italian opera and song comes from his close association with his family. The family business, Addeo Bakers, was a meeting place for Sunday afternoon dinners where relatives and friends from Italy would sing songs from the "old country." It was here he initially developed his love for the music of Italy and it is definitely in his blood. He is happy to be carrying on this tradition in this his first CD.
