This disc contains a collection of songs, arias and folksongs that interested Jane Austen enough to make transcriptions of them. These notations in her own hand are still extant. The performances were recorded in the Rutgers Museum Theater (Camden, New Jersey) and the Recital Hall on the campus of the State University of New York in Purchase, New York.
