| It is no surprise that the horn stands central to Henry Wolking's compositions. A trombonist himself, he has a proclivity for its modern sound. Even in the pieces with a featured piano, the horns are integral to the music. Eschewing the common Aaron Copland style of commemorating the American West, Wolking takes a more uptown approach. | |||||
