As good as it gets October 13, 2013 By Hugh Cain See All My Reviews "I remember the day I received my copy of "the Posey" ... a gift from Dr. Westbrook. My wife, Renee, and I played it immediately and were delighted. Jim had been talking about the work he was doing for quite some time ... how he had worried over the length of the recording ... how he had to adjust the tempo for "Danny Boy" to avoid going into distortion. The results were amazing! and still are after all these years. The Ensemble played with grace and beauty. Grainger would have been proud. Growing up in the Band world, you could not escape the influence of this work of art. Dr. Westbrook and the UCLA Wind Ensemble have provided a living example Grainger's work of art that will play on in our hearts for ever." Report Abuse
