The British March King February 4, 2012 By Richard Shannon See All My Reviews "This is yet another recording of Kenneth Alford's wonderful music, this is about the fourth on various labels. Played by the Band of HM Royal Marines, Commander-in-Chief, Naval Home Command, Portsmouth under Jim Mason. There have been recordings previously by Jim Mason's band as well as one under Vivian Dunn and the Royal Marines School of Music Band. All excellent recordings. There is available a CD "The Complete Marches of Kenneth J Alford" by The Band of HM Royal Marines, Commandos under the direction of Captain John Perkins recorded back in 1993. This recording is still available for Clovelly Recordings, based in Deal, Kent, UK. " Report Abuse
