The music of the Jérémy Ternoy Trio is multiple: it is rough and sophisticated; it is vigorous, melancholy, modern and romantic. Jazz is central to it, but the influences of Chick Corea and Paul Bley mingle with those of Bartók and Satie, along with the sounds of the city and certain colours from rock. All the pieces are composed by Jérémy Ternoy, but improvisation is of crucial importance in them. The musicians, true virtuosos, forge a discourse that is at once meaningful, sensitive and complementary.
