Born: November 6, 1883; Barnstaple, Devon, England   Died: April 24, 1945; Middlesex, England  
Bath studied piano and composition at the RAM and in 1904 won the Goring Thomas Scholarship for his composition =Spanish Student=. His work includes both popular and comic works as well as expressive symphonic pieces. He served as a music advisor to the London County Council and was the conductor of popular choral and orchestral concerts.
