The Tenor's Moment of TruthSeptember 12, 2012By Ralph Acosta (Westland, MI)See All My Reviews"I remember the first time I heard this performance..........it was around 1965 at my friend Adry's home and he said to me "wait until you hear this!" and went right to Ferraro's entrance to the end of act 1. He was using a Tandberg reel to reel and had Marantz's best tube gear with Bozack Concert Grand Speakers. I was blown away! This was and is one of the greatest things I have ever heard. The soprano crowd won't love it because it is the tenor's show all the way, but what a show. Any fan of great vocalism needs to hear this performance. So, be a man and do yourself a favor."Report Abuse
