Excellent! An important musical document June 12, 2013 By Dale S. (Charlottetown, PE) See All My Reviews "This is the first recording in a series of 4 (planned) recordings featuring Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic music played on historical instruments. The repertoire is wonderful, the playing superb. This is a fine example of some first-rate solo playing on the Renaissance trombone. The 2nd volume seems to be much more widely available than this 1st release, so get it while you can. The 4 volumes, when completed, will be an important document of solo trombone repertoire played on period instruments. Nisini is a fine musician, and this recording is excellent." Report Abuse
