Biography |
| American composer of numerous orchestral, chamber works, choral works and songs as well as solo piano pieces. Emma Lou Diemer received her BM and MM in music from the Yale School of Music in 1949 and 1950. Ph.D from the Eastman School of Music in 1960 as well as an honorary doctorate in 1999 from the University of Central Missouri. Though she has written for live performance, Diemer also helped to establish the computer and electronic music program at the University of California, Berkeley. |
