Notes and Editorial Reviews

This recording took place inside the grand Victorian Gothic architecture of Keble College's impressive chapel. The building was completed on St. Mark's Day, 1876, exactly three years after the foundation stone was laid. The Chapel has arguably one of the best acoustics for choral music in Oxford, and is the venue for frequent performances by groups from across the University and the City. The Chapel Choir itself, conducted by the Organ Scholars, has a long tradition, and currently comprises singers from Keble, other Oxford Colleges, and Oxford Brookes University.
