Capella Savaria is a Hungarian period-instrument chamber orchestra based in Szombathely, in Western Hungary near the Austrian border. The group takes its name from Savaria, the Roman name of Szombathely, which was founded as a Roman outpost in 45 CE. Founded in 1981 by Pál Németh, since 1999 the Capella Savaria has been led by violinist Zsolt Kalló.
