Wonderful voice, fine artistry January 3, 2012 By Robert T. G. (Cornelia, GA) See All My Reviews "I enjoy keeping up with the latest Wagner recording and I was curious when I saw this new CD of arias by Marc Deaton. Where's he been hiding? Very fine voice, beautifully produced and wonderfully expressive ... truly heroic in scale, but it retains a fine-grained lyric quality that is highly desirable. The conducting is good and the orchestra and recording quality is very good.

the Parsifal excerpts, Lohengrin, and Meistersinger will give you a good idea of how fine Deaton is, both as vocalist and artist ... then listen to Siegfried to hear what an heroic tenor IS! ... then listen to the Tristan pieces for lessons in what that incredible music can be, with the right voice and artistry!"
