BBC Music (3/98, p.69) - Performance: 4 (out of 5), Sound: 3 (out of 5) - "...Leinsdorf builds excitingly to climaxes, yet lingers lovingly over intimate passages.  Perfect Triangle December 13, 2011
By robert jones (scott depoy, WV) -- See All My Reviews
Simply the most satisfying as to balanced presentation of the soloists, chorus, and orchestral splendors of Lohengrin. Symphony Hall and its orchestra are ready made for this opera. Its Lohengrin to be sure, but a magnificent sound doesn't hurt it a bit. Report Abuse
