Bohdan Warchal, was the founder, artistic director, violin soloist and chief conductor of the Slovak Chamber Orchestra and was also a concert master of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Bratislava. Warchal's conducting, particularly of Baroque era works is noted for clarity of form and beauty of tone.
