The present compilation of Romantic music for women's choir demonstrates the possible sound-scapes created by such an ensemble. The thirty women's voices of the ensemble appear in different formations - both a-cappella and with accompaniment. At times it is the organ, at others the harp which soloistically accompany the ensemble; in other cases, harp and organ together accompany the singers, in one setting even the tantalising combination of two horns and a harp. At the heart of the present compilation of works from the High and Late Romantic Eras stand the works by Gustav Holst, in particular his "Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda."
