This album is comprised of both older and never-before recorded pieces by composers singing in Audite Chamber Choir. Having the composer sing their own pieces adds a very unique tension to the performance: the choir, the conductor and the composer all have a different take on the piece, and resolving that tension is required for the piece to become whole. This tension gives rise to new interpretations of old pieces, and grants new pieces the excitement they deserve. The Audite Chamber Choir is the official choir of The Helsinki Conservatory of Music.
