Notes and Editorial Reviews

For more than twenty years the choral conductor and musicologist Clytus Gottwald has been transcribing piano-accompanied Lieder and instrumental works for a cappella choir. These arrangements employ techniques found in the music of Ligeti. These works, which make the highest demands on vocal ensembles, are presented here in a masterful interpretation by the SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart.
