Did not meet expectations October 18, 2014 By William Muthig (Milan, OH) See All My Reviews "One problem with holding a musical organization such as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in high regard is that one comes to expect outstanding performances each and every time. Somehow this CD did not fulfill that expectation. A compilation of recordings from different years, the performances seemed uneven. The recording of the Battle Hymn of the Republic was a particular let-down compared with the Choir's LP recording from back in the 1960s of songs of the North and South." Report Abuse
