"I was lucky to get this for 6 bucks on an Arkiv sale. It's not currently available but worth seeking out on the secondary market. What makes this CD interesting is that it is played by a 16 yr. old prodigy with one of the world's great conductors and orchestras. The liner notes point out it is an unusually spacious reading but as noted by the Penguin Guide ''the slow basic tempi were her own choice and not forced on her by her super-star conductor...the purity of the solo playing and the concentration of the whole performance make the the result intensely convincing.'' The recording on the whole is pretty good although there is a little congestion in the massed orchestral parts. I would give this a 4 star overall rating but its novelty historical value pushes it to a 5."
