Miss Stevens steals the show? July 8, 2014 By R Gregory C (Arlington, VA) See All My Reviews "I avoided giving five stars only because I personally haven't played any of these DVDs. I bought this set for my dad the opera buff, and he told me that that he immediately tore open the Rise Stevens disc and was soon re-acquainted with her talent and panache, particularly in her polished but suave delivery of non-operatic and non-classical numbers. And trust me, he's not that easily impressed in ANY repertoire. It appears that this package is a nifty way to discover some great singers of the past, and I know that those besides Stevens come well-recommended." Report Abuse
